Stay Cool in the Pool!

— By Aaron Bond

Summer is here and there’s no better way to keep cool than a dip in the pool. If you need a place to swim, we have you covered. Founders Memorial Park Pool is the perfect spot to make a splash. If you haven’t paid a visit to the pool, we invite you to check it out.

City staff has worked hard in preparation of the swim season to ensure you have the best experience. They’ve completed upgrades including:

*New Lane Lines

*New Patio Furniture

*Improved Lighting in the Restroom/Locker room Areas

*Slip-Resistant Flooring

Aside from open swim, there’s more happening at the pool too! Some of the activities/programs pool visitors can take advantage of include:

*Swim Lessons (class or private)

*Adult Lap Swim (Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.)

*Private Pool Parties

*Movie Night in the Pool (July 19 @ 8:30 p.m.)

Friday  12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Saturday 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Entry fees are just a few dollars–$3 for adults and $2 for a child or pool visitors can purchase pool season passes to have access all summer long! Please visit our website for more information or give us a shout at city hall if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the pool!
